About Us
Pneumolabs was formed in 1997 as a contract research company to provide a range of preclinical research services in a number of disease areas.
More recently the company has focused on three main disease areas, Respiratory, Pain and Urogenital. A comprehensive range of tests/models are now available and in regular use for the evaluation of compounds in these fields. A group of preferred partners with immense expertise and success has been established to enable the company to strengthen the depth of the preclinical test/model portfolio; this also enables us to provide tests using human tissue/cells.
Contract Research
Pneumolabs provides a partial or complete preclinical contract research service to progress compounds from hit identification through to disease models in Respiratory, Urinogenital and Pain disease.
Drug Discovery
Pneumolabs is open to the possibility of entering drug discovery collaborations to progress programmes on a shared IP basis, we are always willing to discuss such possibilities.
Expertise
Our greatest asset is our people, we have a wealth of experience in both the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries and success with over 200 scientific publications and numerous compounds reaching clinical evaluation.
This enables us to design tests/models that are realistic in their value for drug discovery. All of our tests/models are repeatable, validated and are run on a highly interactive basis with our clients to ensure maximal success and a rapid and efficient service.
Facilities
Pneumolabs have recently moved to a new purpose built suite of laboratories with all of the support facilities expected of a quality preclinical research services company. We undergo rigorous random checks for standards, quality and safety all of which are high priorities for us to ensure the best service for our clients. We have the most up to date equipment to enable us to provide accurate, high quality data, which can be rapidly communicated to our clients. All of our preferred partners also operate with such high standards enabling us to provide continuity for all of our work.
